The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Stark.
Stark swings for the body but Silva moves out of range.
Stark on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Silva. Silva obviously looking to wear him down.
Stark misses with a jab to the body
and Silva counters with a two punch combo.
Stark moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.
Stark is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Stark swings widly with a right hand
enabling Silva to counter with a crisp jab.
Silva throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stark looks to land a right hand but Silva moved out of range.
Silva fails to land with a series of punches.
Stark misses with a straight right.
Silva lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Silva lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Silva slips under a jab.
Silva slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Stark misses with a lunging right hand
and Silva counters with an outside leg kick.

and Silva counters with a three punch combo that has Stark backing up. Stark nods at Silva to acknowledge the strikes.
Stark is rocked!
Silva connects with a right that clearly hurt Stark. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Silva proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Stark collapses and taps out under the pressure!
