The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, David Schapiro and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Roger misses.
Sloppy strikes from Mignone. Those never looked like landing.
Roger takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Roger fails in his attempt to clinch.
Roger takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Mignone throws a right and a left that both miss.
A jab from Mignone does it's job there.
Nice sprawl there from Mignone as Roger shoots in.
Roger ducks right into an uppercut from Mignone.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Roger takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Mignone cracks Roger with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Some wild striking there from Mignone.
Roger showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mignone.
Roger throws a body kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The crowd cheers as Mignone lands an impressive looking overhand right. Roger doesn't seem phased though.
Roger tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mignone swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Roger on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Mignone tests Roger's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Roger dodges the punch combination from Mignone.
Mignone scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Mignone changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Roger is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mignone misses with a wild body shot.
Mike Mignone is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mignone lands a nice shot to the body.
Oooooh!!! Mignone has knocked Roger down with a huge combo! Mignone steps away and waves a wobbly Roger back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Joey Roger has been cut.
Mignone lands a big uppercut and Roger crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Roger looks OK. Mignone waves Roger back to his feet!
Roger is rocked!
Mignone Throws a clean left jab. Mignone Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Roger's chin! Roger crumbles to the ground and Mignone follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Mignone!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mike Mignone!
