Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonah Sumrall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Nowak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sumrall comes to the cage accompanied by Kutless - Smile. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nowak throws a sloppy head kick and Sumrall moves out of range easily.

Nowak shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sumrall sprawls well. Sumrall wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nowak gets slowly back to his feet.

Sumrall looks for the body kick but Nowak saw that one coming.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Nowak crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sumrall - the referee stops the clock and Nowak gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sumrall. Nowak manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Sumrall throws a shot from downtown. Nowak moves away and avoids it.

enabling Sumrall to counter with a crisp jab.
Horrible takedown by Nowak or perhaps it was just good defense by Sumrall which made him look bad.
Nowak throws a hook to the side of Sumrall's head but Sumrall sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Nowak closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sumrall did well to prevent Nowak getting side control.

Sumrall might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
