Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Sol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morris's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Jack Morris has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Morris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Viktor Sol!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Sol ducks under a wild hook from Morris.
Sol takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Morris misses the shot to the body.
Jack Morris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morris looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Morris misses with a body shot.
Morris moves in looking to clinch but Sol pushes him off.

and Sol counters with a nice double leg into side control. Morris won't be happy with that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sol thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Sol looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Morris with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Morris tries to roll over but Sol keeps him under control.
Sol is keen to just control but Morris is a slippery customer.
Sol scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Morris is looking to improve his position.
Sol lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Sol wants to work for an arm triangle but Morris is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Morris tries to get to full guard but Sol has control of the leg.

Sol missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Morris moves into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sol lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Morris is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Sol stands and throws Morris's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Morris is trying to work for a sweep but Sol has mounted him!
Sol tries to control but Morris wriggling away.

Sol lands with some strikes.
A nice elbow there by Sol.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Morris is looking to get to half guard.
Morris manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Morris wants to control but Sol is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morris is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Sol is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Morris doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sol.

Sol thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Morris's head.
Morris is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sol's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sol's back!
Sol is trying to break free.

Sol is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Morris gets his way!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sol covering up well under a series of strikes from Morris.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sol covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Morris will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Sol avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Morris shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sol sprawls well. Sol wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Morris gets slowly back to his feet.
Sol misses with a takedown
and Morris counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sol shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Morris as he avoids it easily.
Morris misses with a body kick.
Morris throws a body punch but Sol moves out of range.
Morris's corner calls for a 1-2. Morris obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Morris throws a sloppy head kick and Sol moves out of range easily.
Morris slaps away a takedown attempt from Sol, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jack Morris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Viktor Sol.
Sol takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Morris defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sol.
Morris misses with a wild body shot.
Morris connects with a body shot that sends Sol's belly button to the back.
Sol blocks the body kick.

Sol tries to sprawl but Morris drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Morris is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Sol is pressing down on Morris's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Morris will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Morris got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sol has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Morris has managed to get both his arms back between Sol's legs - danger averted.

Morris passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Morris is trying to get an arm triangle but Sol is defending well.

Sol prevents Morris from moving into mount.
Morris wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sol keeps working.

Sol gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Morris is in the full mount, landing strikes.


Sol is rocked!
Oooh a big shot lands for Morris! Sol is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jack Morris!
Jack Morris got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
