Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kin Ring Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Montage kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kin Ring Sackett could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Juan Sanchez's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kin Ring Sackett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Sanchez content to stall in guard here. Sanchez stopping the sweep attempt from Sackett. Sanchez postures up.
Sackett pulls Sanchez in close to prevent any damage. Sackett keeping moving, preventing Sanchez from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sanchez tries for a takedown but Sackett circles away easily and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Sanchez jabs at Sackett's body. A left and a right from Sanchez both land. Nice combination. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sanchez keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sackett.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sackett throws a hook but Sanchez avoids it easily. Sackett works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
It looks like Juan Sanchez has been cut. Sackett connects with a right hand. Sanchez shakes it off. Sackett throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Sanchez scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Sanchez working away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sackett is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Sanchez works to advance to full mount. Sackett defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Sanchez controlling from mount. Sanchez looking to control but Sackett is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez fails to take his opponent's back. Sanchez moves to the back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sackett showing good submission defense here.

Sackett breaks Sanchez's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Sanchez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sackett can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sanchez working for a triangle but Sackett defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sackett with a nice head shot there. Sanchez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sackett defends well. Sanchez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sackett is aware though and is defending well. Sackett postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sackett tries to free his leg and advance position but Sanchez is retaining full guard. Sanchez working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Sackett has passed into half guard!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanchez is refusing to be controlled, as Sackett sits in half guard. Sanchez works his way to full guard. Good work. Sackett scoring with punches to the head and body. Sackett working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Sanchez's head. Sackett got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sanchez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sackett has managed to get both his arms back between Sanchez's legs - danger averted. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sackett is in close to Sanchez's body, working some short punches and elbows. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sanchez looking for subs off his back but Sackett has passed one foot through into half guard.

Juan Sanchez dominated that round. The cut man is working on Juan Sanchez's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sanchez is looking to land body kicks. Juan Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sackett misses with a body shot.
Horrible takedown by Sanchez or perhaps it was just good defense by Sackett which made him look bad. Sanchez fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Sackett misses with a body kick. Sanchez checks the leg kick nicely there.
A clash of legs there as Sackett blocks the low kick. Sanchez looks to land a combination. Sackett sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Sackett misses with a hook. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sanchez is defended easily by Sackett. Kin Ring Sackett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Sanchez. Sanchez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sackett. Sackett thuds his right hand into Sanchez's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez fails with a takedown attempt. Kin Ring Sackett is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sanchez fails with a takedown attempt. Sackett leaves Sanchez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Sanchez shoots in looking for a takedown. Sackett tries to sprawl out of it but Sanchez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sackett manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Sackett motions for Sanchez to come forward. Sackett throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Sackett chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sanchez can pounce on him.
Nice sprawl there from Sackett as Sanchez shoots in. Sanchez tried to score with a low kick but Sackett checks it. Sanchez misses with a wild body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A slapping leg kick lands for Sanchez.
Sackett misses with a hook. Sanchez ducked under it nicely. Sackett misses with an uppercut. Sackett tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sackett swinging wildly here.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Sackett. Sanchez shrugs it off though. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sanchez is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Danga de danga de dang - Sanchez scores with a four punch combination! Sackett waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sanchez. Sackett misses with a straight right.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sackett misses with an attempted mid kick.
Sackett takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Sanchez chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Sackett fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Sackett is looking to slow Sanchez down with leg kicks. Sanchez is breathing heavily. Sanchez has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sackett finds it's way round the side to connect with Sanchez's head. Sackett misses with a looping right. Sanchez shoots in for a takedown but Sackett shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sanchez doesn't succeed with the takedown and Sackett counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Sanchez is lucky that one didn't land flush. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sanchez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sackett's waist but Sackett gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sanchez off to one side. Sackett swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kin Ring Sackett is winning the standup battle so far. Sackett bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanchez has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sanchez there as he acknowledges the shot.
That has opened up Juan Sanchez's cut even more. A slow jab from Sackett misses its intended target. Sanchez blocks a jab. Sanchez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sackett catches Sanchez with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! A slow jab from Sackett misses its intended target. Sanchez throws a right and a left that both miss. Sackett drops Sanchez with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sanchez looks back up at him and smiles so Sackett waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Sanchez is rocked! Sackett misses with a straight right. Sanchez is still on wobbly legs! Can Sackett finish him? Sanchez swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sackett counters with a huge left! Sanchez is in big trouble! He's backing up but Sackett isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Sanchez from any more damage. A dominating finish by Sackett!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kin Ring Sackett! Kin Ring Sackett was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
