Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McGinni is defended easily by Johnson.
Johnson tries to clinch up but McGinni circles away and keeps his distance.
Johnson throws a sloppy head kick and McGinni moves out of range easily.
McGinni fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Johnson clobbers McGinni with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
McGinni shoots in but no luck this time.
Captain Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Micky McGinni.
Johnson gets caught flat footed, as McGinni shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
McGinni is looking to stand up but Johnson won't let him.
McGinni throws a big right hand that misses.
McGinni is sitting in close to Johnson's body. Johnson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! McGinni is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, McGinni is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Johnson.
