Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Stanly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Matthews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Stanly might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to monster you made. Nick Stanly has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Matthews!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Alyssa Summers and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matthews wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Matthews thuds a left hand into Stanly's body.
Stanly moves forwards but Matthews connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Matthews lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Stanly fails to land the takedown.
A good leg kick by Matthews.
Matthews fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Matthews stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Stanly closes the distance but Matthews moves to the side
and Matthews counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Good shot there by Matthews.
A jab lands there for Matthews.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Matthews throws a quick inside leg kick.
Matthews smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Matthews with a nice cross.
BOOM! Matthews lands a beautiful left hook that drops Stanly. Stanly tries to recover but Matthews is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Stanly lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
