Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bat Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bat Man has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bat Man! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Liam Jackson! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson staying out of range there. Man changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Jackson can't do much from the bottom here. Man happy to just control the position for now. Man wants to control but Jackson is keeping him busy. Man tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Man. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jackson is not content to let Man control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Jackson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jackson is trying to get back to half guard. Jackson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson tries to strike but it doesn't land. Man is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Jackson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Man creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jackson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Jackson is trying to get back to half guard. Man tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Man goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jackson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Man's guard! Nice work there by Jackson! Man has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jackson postures up and lands a big shot to Man's brow. Jackson trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Man manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Man passes Jackson's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Jackson wants to control but Man is having none of it. Man controlling the pace for now. Man connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Man goes for an armbar but Jackson turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Jackson. Jackson is pushing down on Man's leg trying to pass to half guard. Man is fighting to maintain full guard but Jackson has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Man desperately trying to maintain half guard. Man looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Jackson trying to control the action but Man is working from the bottom. Man actively working from the bottom here. Jackson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Man is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jackson pulls his head out easily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jackson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Man wants to control but Jackson is keeping busy and won't allow it. Man is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jackson pulls his head out easily. Jackson trying to control from half guard but Man is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bat Man dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Man shoots in and bounces Jackson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Man wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving. Jackson throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Man trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Man postures up.
Man trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Man is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jackson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Bat Man has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Man shoots in but no luck this time. Jackson throws the left hand but Man avoids the punch easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson misses with an uppercut. Jackson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jackson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Man in his tracks. Bat Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Some wild striking there from Man.
Man shoots in and drives through. Jackson sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bat Man. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jackson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Man tries for a takedown but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jackson throws a shot to the body.
Bat Man is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jackson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jackson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Jackson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. This has been an exciting period of action! Man's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jackson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Man scrambles back to his feet. Jackson connects with a looping right hand.
A big left from Jackson misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson throws a right hand that Man ducks under and follows up with a left that Man also avoids with ease. Jackson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Man. Man circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Jackson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Man on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Man has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jackson. A solid leg kick lands there for Jackson.
Man on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jackson. Jackson obviously looking to wear him down.
Jackson clobbers Man with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Man is rocked! Jackson stuns Man with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Man takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Oh Man is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jackson cracks Man with a hook to the temple - Man is on wobbly legs here! Jackson swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Man falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Jackson wins by TKO!
