The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boes takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Boes gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Contadella.
Boes throws out a leg kick but Contadella moves out of range and Boes only half commits.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Contadella is defended easily by Boes.
Boes dives in and scores a takedown into Contadella's guard.
Boes gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Contadella has closed the distance and engaged Boes in a clinch.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gianluigi Contadella will probably get the nod.
