Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrew Wall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Calvin Barnes!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Barnes both land. Nice combination.
Barnes swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wall throws a quick inside leg kick.
Wall pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Barnes back to the cage. Wall follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Barnes scores with the left hand. Wall knows he should have avoided that one.

and Wall counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Wall gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Barnes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wall manages to avoid it.

Barnes shoots in and drives through. Wall sprawls well.
Andrew Wall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Calvin Barnes.
Barnes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wall pinned against the cage. Wall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wall rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barnes moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Barnes closes the distance and clinches up with Wall, looking for a takedown. Barnes pushes Wall against the cage but Wall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Calvin Barnes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Barnes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Calvin Barnes was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
