Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arizona Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Stallion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Stallion has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arizona Reed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Stallion! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Stallion darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Reed wants to get back to his feet. Stallion content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Reed has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stallion is working away from the top position though. Ground and pound from Stallion.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stallion not doing much here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Stallion dives in and scores a takedown into Reed's guard. Stallion slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Stallion advances position into side control! Stallion just content to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reed is trying to get back to half guard. Stallion sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Reed is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Stallion remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. It looks like Stallion might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. This has been an exciting period of action!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reed on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Stallion working the head and body with strikes. Stallion scores with punches from side control. Stallion is chipping away with strikes.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Stallion creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. A lull in the action here. Stallion is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A control attempt from Reed but he's now mounted! Stallion with a couple of short strikes. Reed wants to hold on but Stallion pushes him away. Stallion fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Stallion lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Stallion has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Stallion tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Reed tries to hold on but Stallion pushes him away. Stallion controlling his opponent. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Reed takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reed looks to clinch and Stallion counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Reed closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Reed trying to control the action but Stallion is working from the bottom. Stallion is trying to get back to half guard. Reed stands up and beckons Stallion to his feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Reed. Stallion is trying hard to land a takedown here. Reed sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Reed doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Stallion closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Stallion remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Stallion lands a decent elbow from side control. Reed trying to remain calm as Stallion controls from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reed struggling a bit here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stallion is putting a hurting on Reed here, landing some big shots from side control. Mike Stallion has got the better of the ground game so far. A bit of a lull in the action. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Reed takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Mike Stallion showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Reed attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Reed throws out a loose jab but Stallion uses good head movement to avoid it. Stallion moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. No luck with that takedown attempt from Stallion. Reed takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Reed gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Stallion working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Reed has his foot on Stallion's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stallion works his way back into a safe position though. Stallion throwing strikes but missing. Stallion is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Stallion has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reed wants to stand and escape but Stallion is having none of it. Stallion lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Stallion's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mike Stallion was stalling too much, according to the referee. Reed looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stallion is fending him off so far but Reed persists. Nope, Stallion circles away and we're back to standing. Stallion leaves Reed with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Stallion throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Reed tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Stallion is in Reed's guard. Stallion is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reed pulls Stallion in to control the position.
Mike Stallion has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Stallion fails to land the takedown. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stallion lands a nice shot to the body.
Reed tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Stallion manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Stallion dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Stallion closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Reed quickly recovers to half guard. Stallion not doing much here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reed has hold of Stallion's hands but Stallion slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Stallion working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Stallion lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Stallion is thwarting Reed's attempts to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Stallion in particular looking to stall. Mike Stallion is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Reed trying to hold on to Stallion's head to control him but Stallion postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Reed shoots in for a takedown but Stallion shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arizona Reed. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stallion shoots in for a takedown and gets it. This has been an exciting period of action! Stallion controlling the action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Stallion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Stallion has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
