Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kilian O Donnel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Merquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Merquez has chosen Mind Da Gap feat. Valete - Não Pára as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kilian O Donnel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Felix Merquez!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Merquez fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
O Donnel throws out a leg kick but Merquez moves out of range and O Donnel only half commits.
No joy there for O Donnel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
O Donnel lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Merquez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by O Donnel.
Merquez motions for O Donnel to come forward. Merquez throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
O Donnel works over Merquez's head and body with a nice combination.
O Donnel looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Merquez throws a nice looking combination but O Donnel bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
O Donnel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
No joy there for O Donnel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Merquez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
O Donnel pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Merquez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as O Donnel sprawls well. O Donnel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Merquez gets slowly back to his feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Merquez drives through with a takedown into O Donnel's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Merquez tries to free his leg and advance position but O Donnel is retaining full guard.
O Donnel has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Merquez is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for O Donnel.
Merquez looks up at the clock and then as O Donnel takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Merquez smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
O Donnel is trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A lull in the action here as Merquez stalls from top position.
Merquez lands a decent elbow from side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
O Donnel being controlled for a moment.
O Donnel tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Merquez wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
O Donnel prevents Merquez from moving into mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Merquez is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. O Donnel looks calm but he's in trouble here. Merquez gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. O Donnel is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Merquez lets go of the hold and O Donnel can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Felix Merquez!
A relieved looking Felix Merquez thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
