The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saburov looks to score with a jab to the body but Fleischer is just out of range. Saburov thows a body shot but no joy. Fleischer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Fleischer pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Fleischer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Saburov. Saburov misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fleischer.

Fleischer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Saburov manages to avoid it. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Saburov. Saburov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fleischer pinned against the cage. Fleischer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Niklas Fleischer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Saburov. Saburov fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Saburov is breathing heavily. Saburov looks to score with a jab to the body but Fleischer is just out of range. Fleischer showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Saburov.

That's better than Saburov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Saburov breaks from Fleischer's wrist control and lands an elbow. Saburov with the ground and pound from mount. Saburov is landing with some decent strikes but Fleischer is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Saburov scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Saburov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Saburov pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Fleischer is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Saburov fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Fleischer is rocked! Saburov cracks Fleischer with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Oh Fleischer is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Saburov working for a submission but Fleischer is keeping him at bay.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Saburov working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Fleischer turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Saburov off and cradles Fleischer's limp body as Saburov celebrates with his corner.
