Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Silvers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dustin Gannicus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hunter Silvers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dustin Gannicus!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silvers takes a jab right on the kisser.
Gannicus stalks Silvers and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Silvers's face. Silvers staggers backwards, shaken.
Gannicus looks to land a combination but Silvers avoids it well.
Silvers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gannicus swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gannicus lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Hunter Silvers has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silvers tries to clinch there but Gannicus circles away.
Gannicus connects with a body shot that sends Silvers's belly button to the back.
A jab from Gannicus does it's job there.
Silvers gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gannicus.
Gannicus lands a nice hook to Silvers's body. Silvers takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Silvers throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Gannicus throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Silvers's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Gannicus dives in looking to finish as Silvers flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Gannicus's strikes! Gannicus is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Silvers's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Silvers was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dustin Gannicus!
