Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doom Unit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boom kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is POD - Boom. Doom Unit will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Boom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Doom Unit! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boom fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Boom shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Boom thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Unit's head. Boom perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Boom missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Boom misses with a head shot. Unit uses the momentum to regain guard. Boom in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Boom throws a strike but Unit rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Boom looking to hit a scissor sweep but Unit is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Boom holds on and takes a little breather. Boom not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Unit tries to free his leg and advance position but Boom is retaining full guard. Unit preventing the sweep. Unit passes Boom's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Unit controlling the pace. Unit tries to pass to full mount but Boom defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boom is in trouble now - Unit has advanced to mount! Unit fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Unit with a couple of short strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Unit landing strikes, looking to finish! Unit wants to control the pace but Boom is squirming around nicely. Unit working the ground and pound effectively.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Unit raining down shots from the mount! Boom tries to lock up and control but Unit gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Unit looking to finish with strikes here!
Unit controlling from mount. Unit is in the full mount, landing strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boom is squirming around, avoiding Unit's attempts to control the action. Unit lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Unit thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Unit misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Boom is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Unit throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Boom regains half guard. Unit lands with a punch from half guard. Boom is looking for a sweep. Unit is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Unit throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Boom is looking to improve his position.
Unit is looking to advance position but Boom won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doom Unit dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Boom has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Unit. Unit scores with a body shot.
Donk. Unit catches Boom right on the button with a cross. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Unit connects with an inside leg kick. Unit drops Boom with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Boom! Unit dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Doom Unit!
