Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Kolor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Yakubiskaya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenji Yakubiskaya will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Kolor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kenji Yakubiskaya!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yakubiskaya moves into the clinch successfully.

Kolor decides to pull guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Yakubiskaya stands and throws Kolor's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Kolor manages to work his way to half guard, despite Yakubiskaya's best efforts.
Yakubiskaya wants to free his trapped foot but Kolor is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kolor tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Yakubiskaya has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Kolor regains half guard.
Yakubiskaya is looking to advance position but Kolor won't allow it.
Yakubiskaya is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Yakubiskaya has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Yakubiskaya controlling his opponent.

Kolor somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!

Yakubiskaya clinches with his opponent.

Yakubiskaya tightens his grip and picks Kolor up, before dumping him to the ground. Kolor manages to land in guard.
Kolor trying to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Yakubiskaya wants to control from the top but Kolor keeps moving.
Yakubiskaya postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yakubiskaya trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Yakubiskaya trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kolor's guard.
Kolor tries to strike from the bottom.
Kolor is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kolor is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Kolor working for a triangle but Yakubiskaya defends it easily.
Yakubiskaya slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Yakubiskaya postures up in Kolor's guard and throws a big left but Kolor blocks it.
Kolor keeping full guard, as Yakubiskaya tries to pass.
Yakubiskaya wants to stand but Kolor is controlling his posture from full guard.
Yakubiskaya looking to sit in guard and control but Kolor gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kolor trying to control the position from guard on top but Yakubiskaya is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Yakubiskaya manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Kolor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yakubiskaya as he jumps to the side.
Yakubiskaya fails in his attempt to clinch.
Yakubiskaya doesn't manage to clinch there - Kolor circles away.
Daniel Kolor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Yakubiskaya avoids the body shot from Kolor.
Yakubiskaya is looking to clinch but Kolor is avoiding it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kenji Yakubiskaya dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Yakubiskaya tries to clinch up.

Kolor shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Yakubiskaya is trying to escape back to his feet but Kolor uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Kenji Yakubiskaya has got the better of the ground game so far.
Yakubiskaya struggling a bit here.
Yakubiskaya is pushing Kolor's head away, looking to escape. Kolor manages to hold on to the position though.

Kolor is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Yakubiskaya is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kolor is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Yakubiskaya knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Yakubiskaya is trying to buck Kolor off.

Kolor has hold of Yakubiskaya's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Yakubiskaya seems comfortable defending it but Kolor has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Yakubiskaya is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Yakubiskaya is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kolor couldn't care less - he's delighted!
