The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyle shoots in and drives through. Miller sprawls well.
Miller looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Boyle with a poor takedown
and Miller counters by moving into the clinch.
Boyle breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Boyle moves in looking to clinch but Miller pushes him off.
Miller misses with an uppercut
and Boyle counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Boyle slips nicely into half guard.
Boyle looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boyle is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Miller sees it coming and defends easily.

Boyle is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Let's hope that Boyle has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boyle is trying to control the action in half guard but Miller is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Boyle is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Boyle will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Boyle drops down looking for an ankle pick but Miller pulls his leg out and moves away.
Boyle closes the distance and pushes Miller back into the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Miller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Boyle rushes Miller and presses him up against the cage.
Miller is trying to drag Boyle to the mat but Boyle just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Boyle has hold of one of Miller's legs. Miller is fighting the takedown attempt but Boyle gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boyle accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Boyle seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bart Boyle hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Boyle working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Miller looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Boyle! Submission of the night perhaps?
