Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tomasz Szczakowiecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafhael Angeles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szczakowiecki throws a lazy uppercut
and Angeles counters with a single leg into guard. Szczakowiecki didn't expect that.
Szczakowiecki controls Angeles momentarily but Angeles frees himself.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Angeles stays in close to Szczakowiecki's body and controls the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tomasz Szczakowiecki.
Szczakowiecki loads up on a big right hand but Angeles slips the punch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Szczakowiecki looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Angeles swings for the body but Szczakowiecki moves out of range.

It looks like Angeles might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Rafhael Angeles hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Angeles gets tackled into the ropes by Szczakowiecki. Szczakowiecki maintains the clinch.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Szczakowiecki goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
