Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rich shoots in for a takedown but Martins shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Martins manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rich on his heels. He'll look to pass Rich's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Martins not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Martins is pushing down on Rich's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rich is fighting to maintain full guard but Martins has managed to sneak the leg through.
Rich is trying to get back to full guard.
Martins is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Martins is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rich is just riding it out for now. Martins eventually gives up the hold.

Nice sprawl there from Martins as Rich shoots in.
Rich feints and then cracks Martins's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Martins down.
Martins lands a body shot.
Martins throws a head kick but Rich moves out of range.

Rich tries to sprawl but Martins drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Martins is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rich has managed to free his arm - good work.

Rich tries to roll over but Martins keeps him under control.
Martins moves into full mount! Rich won't be happy about that!

Martins lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Rich is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Martins prevents Rich from getting the reversal.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Martins scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Martins takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Martins walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rich checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Martins takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Martins wants to clinch.
Rich shoots and misses
and Martins counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Martins.
Rich is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Martins is aware though and is defending well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Martins is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Martins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rich swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Martins tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rich sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Martins somewhat.

Martins takes Rich's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Rich is in trouble.

Martins controlling the position well here. Rich rolled but Martins kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Rich is trying to defend against the choke here but Martins has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Martins Tightens the hold and Rich taps out furiously! Martins displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
