With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Leonard Pires!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pires drives through with a takedown into Johnson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pires is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Johnson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Johnson shrugs it off.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Pires got a little sloppy there for a moment and Johnson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pires has managed to get both his arms back between Johnson's legs - danger averted.
