Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cigano Mejias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dean might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to AC/DC - Hells Bells. Jimmy Dean could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Cigano Mejias's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Dean! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cigano Mejias! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mejias walks forward, straight into a front kick from Dean. A nice leg kick lands there from Dean. Dean fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Dean instigates a clinch. Mejias is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mejias turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mejias manages to end up in side control. Mejias looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mejias tries for a kimura but Dean is defending well. Mejias working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mejias is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dean knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Mejias passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Dean!
That's one minute gone in the round. Mejias looking for a guillotine from mount but Dean is having none of it. Mejias is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dean to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dean shrugs it off. Mejias fails to advance to Dean's back. Dean tries to lock up and control but Mejias gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Mejias working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Dean knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mejias on the ground. Mejias is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Dean can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mejias has isolated one of Dean's arms. Dean looking to fight him off but Mejias twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
