Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dante Brixson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brixson's entrance music is "Blind" by Korn. A fine choice. Nick Morris will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dante Brixson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nick Morris! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brixson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Morris.
Morris throws a one two combo.
Morris moves into range and clinches up with Brixson. Morris lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Brixson is rocked!
It looks like Dante Brixson has been cut. Brixson fails to pull guard.
Oh Brixson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Morris landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Brixson seems to have got his legs back now. Morris on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Brixson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Morris scores with a knee to the head.
Brixson is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Brixson is breathing heavily. Brixson wants a takedown but no success here.

Morris unloads a knee to the mid-section. Brixson lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Morris tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Morris is trying to trip Brixson. He has hold of a leg but Brixson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Morris persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Brixson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Brixson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Morris wants to stand but Brixson is controlling his posture from full guard. Brixson working for a triangle but Morris defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morris stands up from guard. Let's bang! Brixson shoots for a takedown but Morris saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dante Brixson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Morris stuffs the takedown. A combination from Morris does no damage. Nick Morris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Morris keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Morris moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Morris fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Morris throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Brixson takes a head kick and keeps coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morris misses with a double jab.
Morris takes the fight into the clinch. Morris tries a knee to the head but Brixson blocks it.
Brixson jumps guard but Morris stands there with Brixson around his waist. Brixson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Brixson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Morris gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Morris scores a nice knee to the body.

Morris stands up out of the half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brixson throws a series of punches but Morris avoids them all with ease. Brixson gets the takedown into side control. Morris is trying to buck Brixson off. Brixson landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Brixson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Morris, who protects the arm well. Morris is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Brixson is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brixson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Morris has escaped the position, nice work there. Brixson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Brixson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Brixson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Morris sneaks back into half guard. Brixson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Morris is just riding it out for now. Brixson eventually gives up the hold.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Brixson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Morris's head. Brixson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Morris is just riding it out for now. Brixson eventually gives up the hold. Morris avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Brixson. Morris moves into full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brixson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Morris's guard. Morris is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest. Morris is trying to stand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Morris dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dante Brixson's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Morris closes the distance and clinches. Morris lands a knee to the head.
Brixson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Morris darts in and clinches Brixson up against the cage. Morris lands a knee to the head.
Morris has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Brixson regains guard immediately. Morris avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Morris slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Brixson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Brixson has his foot on Morris's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Morris works his way back into a safe position though. Morris decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Brixson, up you get! Morris is breathing heavily.

He's got his arms around Morris's waist but Morris gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brixson off to one side. Brixson shoots in for a takedown. That's two minutes gone in the round. Brixson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Morris as he avoids it easily. Morris scoring well with a low kick there.
Brixson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Morris counters by clinching up. Morris lands a knee to the head.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Morris accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Morris must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Morris wants to get up but he can't break Brixson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morris won't allow Brixson to sweep him here. Morris stands up from guard. Let's bang! Morris lands a brutal head kick. Brixson looks out on his feet and Morris throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
