Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mahti Sonni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sonni kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Aki & Turo - Mahtisonni - . White has chosen yes as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Sonni 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Sonni checks the leg kick nicely there.
Sonni tries to clinch up.
Sonni lands with a nice body punch.
White lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sonni's sensitive parts.
Sonni blocks the body kick.
Sonni throws a hook but White avoids it easily.
White missing with a left hand there. Sonni was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
White cracks Sonni with a right hand to the side of the head.
White throws a leg kick that misses.
Sonni slips under a jab.

Sonni closes the distance and pushes White back into the cage.
White fails to pull the fight into his guard.
White is looking to take this one to the mat.

Sonni's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sonni swings for the body but White moves out of range.
Sonni is looking to slow White down with leg kicks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sonni avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
White checks the leg kick.
Sonni gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
White does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Sonni swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A chopping leg kick lands by White.
White takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sonni fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Sonni blocks a leg kick.

Sonni takes the fight into the clinch.
Sonni is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but White is keeping busy.
Sonni tries a body shot but White blocks it.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Sonni.

Sonni is working White over against the cage.
White prevents a body shot from Sonni.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A head punch on the inside from White fails to land.
White misses with some punches.
White blocking some punches.
Sonni makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

White breaks from the clinch.

White rushes Sonni and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Sonni throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but White blocks it with crossed arms.
A short left from White.
Sonni lands a right hand.

White pulls guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Sonni controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Sonni throws a big elbow that misses.
Sonni with a nice head shot there.
Sonni in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sonni won't allow White to sweep him here.
Sonni postures up in White's guard and throws a big left but White blocks it.

White has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sonni is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for White.
Sonni grinds an elbow into White's temple.

White is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
White takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
White is still in real trouble! Can Sonni finish him?

White is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Sonni advances to full mount.
White tries to reverse the position but Sonni maintains control.
Sonni connects with a bit shot that sees White covering up! More strikes from Sonni and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Sonni is our winner by TKO!

Mahti Sonni decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
