The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rua has closed the distance and engaged Henderson in a clinch.

Rua breaks the clinch.
Rua connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Rua swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rua lands a two punch combo.

It looks like David Henderson has been cut.
Good leg kick by Rua there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Rua lands with a thumping leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Henderson dives in and grabs Rua's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rua pushes down on Henderson's head and hops out.
Henderson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Henderson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rua but Rua pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rua uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Henderson.
Rua looks to score with a jab to the body but Henderson is just out of range.
Rua delivers a nice body kick.
Rua lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Henderson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Rua stuffs the takedown attempt from Henderson. Henderson gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Henderson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rua displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Henderson.

Rua thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Henderson if he has to take too many more of those.
Henderson is breathing heavily.
Henderson takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Henderson rushes Rua and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Rua cracks Henderson with a nice body shot.

Rua lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Henderson or not.
Henderson wants to take the fight to the mat but Rua manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Rua pushes Henderson back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Rua's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rua lands a nice shot to the body.
Rua throws a quick inside leg kick.
Rua drops Henderson with a big left hand! Henderson is injured, injured bad! Rua jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
