Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Omar Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raphael Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres comes to the cage accompanied by Tom Erba - Bring it on. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Omar Torres! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raphael Stone! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone throws a nice looking combination but Torres bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Stone scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Torres doesn't seem bothered though. Stone throws a right hand that Torres ducks under and follows up with a left that Torres also avoids with ease. Torres throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stone was covering up waiting for the punch and Torres finishes the takedown easily into guard. Stone wants to get back to his feet but Torres is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Torresis looking to pass into half guard but Stone pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Stone is in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Torres wants to sweep but no luck. Torres on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Torres tries to get out of the position. Stone got a little sloppy there for a moment and Torres has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stone has managed to get both his arms back between Torres's legs - danger averted. Torres working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torres not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Torres pulls Stone in close to his closed guard and prevents Stone from doing any damage or advancing position. Torres wants to sweep here but Stone controlling him for the moment. Stone tries to stand but Torres is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. No joy there for Stone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stone throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stone shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Torres eats them both and turns towards Stone to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Torres shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Torres with a couple of short strikes. Torres looking to finish Stone with some ground and pound. This is bad for Stone! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stone sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Stone is staying active underneath Torres, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Stone tries to roll over but Torres keeps him under control. Stone is concentrating on defense, preventing Torres from advancing position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Torres. Torres slows the pace down in half guard. Torres trying to control the action but Stone is working from the bottom. Torres is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Torres lands a nice short elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Torres wants to work for an arm triangle but Stone is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Nice strikes from Torres there. Stone trying to hold on to Torres's head to control him but Torres postures up.
Torres is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Stone doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Torres. Torres is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Torres is nestled in close to Stone, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Omar Torres dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Torres shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stone defends it nicely. Torres fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Stone takes a swing at Torres's ribcage but misses. Torres fails with the takedown. The fighters circle momentarily. Stone darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Torres shoots in for a takedown but Stone shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Omar Torres. That's going to take a lot out of him. Torres lands the left hand. Stone lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Torres at a distance.
Stone thuds a left hand into Torres's body. Stone comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Torres shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone takes one to the side of the head.
Nice straight punches there by Stone. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Stone. Stone slaps away a takedown attempt from Torres, before circling back to the center of the mat. Stone moves in looking to clinch but Torres pushes him off. Stone throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stone scores with a hook to the body. Torres takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Stone is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Torres rather than just go for the knockout. Torres swats away the attempt to clinch by Stone. Stone jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Raphael Stone is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Stone throws a body punch but Torres moves out of range. Stone slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Stone misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice shot by Stone. Torres looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Torres shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Stone is trying to defend but Torres finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stone is trying to stand back up but Torres is controlling him

That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone tries to kick Torres off but Torres keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Torres is just content to waste time from the top position. Stone takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Torres sitting in guard, not really doing much. Stone keeping moving, preventing Torres from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Omar Torres has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Torres shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Torres looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Stone wants to control but Torres is having none of it. Stone is squirming around, avoiding Torres's attempts to control the action. Torres lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stone is working to get back to half guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Omar Torres will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Torres fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Stone to the ground. Torres is now in Stone's guard. Torres working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Torres trying to control the position from guard on top but Stone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Torres looking to sit in guard and control but Stone gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Torres looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Stone wants to stand but Torres is controlling his posture from full guard. Torres is looking for a triangle here but Stone uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torres tries to buck Stone off but Stone is having none of it. Torres is working hard here to advance position. Stone tries to get to his feet but Torres is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Stone in his guard. Torres looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stone is one step ahead there. Torres has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Torres working for submissions but it's allowed Stone to get to half guard.
Torres tries to roll over but Stone keeps him under control. Torres is trying to escape back to his feet but Stone uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Torres tries to bench press Stone off him but Stone keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Stone throws a front kick aimed at Torres's knee but Torres avoids it well. Torres closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stone circles away. Stone jabs Torres to the body, keeping him at a distance. Stone swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stone. Torres does a little dance to reset his feet. Stone digs a good body shot into Torres's ribs. Torres shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stone as he jumps to the side. Stone misses with a leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone scores with a three punch combo!
Torres bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Stone fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Torres looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Torres takes a jab right on the kisser.
Torres decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Torres is looking to take a break and control but Stone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Raphael Stone has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stone wants to get back to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Omar Torres showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Torres, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
