Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damian Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Spartan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damian Miller has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Damian Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leo Spartan!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller has his takedown stuffed
and Spartan counters with a thumping low kick.
Miller shoots in for a takedown but Spartan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Miller looks for a takedown but Spartan sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damian Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Miller throws a leg kick but Spartan sees it coming and moves out of range.
Miller shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Spartan pinned against the cage. Spartan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Spartan looks to land a right hand but Miller moved out of range.
Spartan feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Millers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like Damian Miller has been cut.
Spartan throws a shot from downtown. Miller moves away and avoids it.
Spartan cracks Miller with a good jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Spartan swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Spartan gets caught napping as Miller dives in and scores a takedown. Spartan manages to retain guard.
Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spartan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Spartan can't keep his opponent in guard - Miller advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Miller looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Miller is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Spartan has managed to free his arm - good work.

Miller is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Miller is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Spartan is just riding it out for now. Miller eventually gives up the hold.

Spartan looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miller seems to be looking for submissions.

Miller is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Spartan defends it well.

Miller is working for a kimura but Spartan is defending it quite comfortably.

Miller really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Miller postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Spartan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Miller, into his guard.

Miller trying to hold on to Spartan's head to control him but Spartan postures up.
Miller has a hand on Spartan's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Spartan takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Miller tries to lock up and control but Spartan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Damian Miller will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Spartan throws a right hand that Miller ducks under and follows up with a left that Miller also avoids with ease.

and Spartan counters with a one-two to the body.

Miller is rocked!
Spartan feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Miller crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

Leo Spartan really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Reaper Combatwear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
