Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walter comes to the cage accompanied by Black Sabbath - War Pigs . There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua leaves Walter with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Walter shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rua's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Rua tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Rua is pulling down on Walter's head to control his posture.
Walter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rua swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rua looking to break Walter's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Walter remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Rua will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

That's time! Walter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Rua displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Walter.

Walter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rua gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Walter wants to take a breather but Rua is having none of it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mark Walter will probably get the nod.

Rua closes the distance and clinches up with Walter, looking for a takedown. Rua pushes Walter against the cage but Walter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mark Walter.
I think Walter has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
