The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosillo throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Payne shoots in for a takedown but Rosillo shows good takedown defense.
Payne blocks a low kick nicely.
Rosillo throws a head kick but Payne moves out of range.
Payne fails to land the takedown.
Rosillo throws a nice outside leg kick.
A punch combination from Rosillo misses.
Rosillo lands a nice shot that snaps Payne's head back.
Payne tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rosillo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Payne somewhat.

Rosillo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rosillo wants it to stay on the feet.

Payne takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Rosillo tries to score with a low kick but Payne moves his leg out of the way.
Rosillo scores with a head kick. Payne tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Max Payne has been cut.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rosillo.
Rosillo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Payne.
Rosillo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

and Payne counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Payne.

Rosillo looks to land a combination. Payne sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Payne is rocked!
Payne drops his hands for a split second and Rosillo immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Payne face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Rosillo follows up with a right hand that knocks Payne into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

A relieved looking Juan Rosillo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
