The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gein throws a sloppy head kick and Aldo moves out of range easily.
Aldo tries to clinch up
and Gein counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Gein throws a head kick but Aldo moves out of range.
Aldo tries to close the distance and clinch but Gein swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Aldo wants to clinch but Gein slips to the side
and Gein counters with a good, hard body kick but Aldo shrugs it off.
Gein tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick from Gein lands but Aldo takes it in his stride.

It looks like Junior Aldo has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Aldo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Gein has managed to clinch.

Gein pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gein explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Aldo shoots for a takedown but Gein saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Aldo tries a head kick but it misses.
Aldo is breathing heavily.
Aldo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gein is fending him off so far but Aldo persists. Nope, Gein circles away and we're back to standing.
Gein throws a nice outside leg kick.

Gein lands a big head kick that sends Aldo tumbling to the mat! Gein takes a step backwards and waves Aldo back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Gein misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Aldo takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Aldo is rocked!

Junior Aldo's cut is getting worse.

Gein moves into the clinch.
Gein lands a big knee to the head and Aldo goes down! Gein pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
