PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Malcolm Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mishka Medvedev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Marshall might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Written In The Stars - Tinie Tempah. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping body kick lands there for Marshall.
Medvedev throws a left and a right that both miss
and Marshall makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Medvedev tries to bum rush Marshall with a series of wild strikes but Marshall uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Medvedev on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Marshall. Marshall obviously looking to wear him down.
Medvedev throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Marshall thumps Medvedev with a low kick.
Medvedev takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Marshall connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Marshall uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Medvedev.
Medvedev needs to keep his hands up - Marshall had a free shot at his head there.
Medvedev jabs Marshall right on the nose. Marshall blinks but takes it well.
Medvedev rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Marshall moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Marshall on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Marshall cracks Medvedev with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Marshall lands a right hook to the body.
Medvedev looks gassed!
Marshall lands a nice shot to the body.

Marshall feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Medvedev sprawling to the canvas! Medvedev rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Marshall finish him?!

Medvedev is rocked!
Marshall stuns Medvedev with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Medvedev is still on wobbly legs! Can Marshall finish him?
Medvedev bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Marshall comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Medvedev falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Medvedev was out before he hit the floor!
