And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Loco Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanchez instigates a clinch.
Redpecayo is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Sanchez is defending well.
Redpecayo tries to score a body lock takedown but Sanchez shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Sanchez keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Redpecayo's efforts to push away.

Sanchez pulls guard successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sanchez wants to sweep but no luck.
Sanchez lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Redpecayo!
Redpecayo is in a horrible position here. Sanchez smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Sanchez looking to control and managing it successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Redpecayo tries to hold on but Sanchez pushes him away.
Sanchez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Sanchez lands a nice shot to the head.
Sanchez wants to control but instead Redpecayo manages to regain half guard.

Sanchez seems to be looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Redpecayo is staying active underneath Sanchez, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Sanchez is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Sanchez wants to stand up but Redpecayo has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Redpecayo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sanchez's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sanchez's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Redpecayo has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Sanchez's body.
Redpecayo is looking to control Sanchez but Sanchez is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Redpecayo controlling well, preventing Sanchez from escaping the position.
Redpecayo biding his time, controlling Sanchez.
Sanchez just trying to survive but Redpecayo is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Redpecayo wants to control but Sanchez manages to buck him off and is now in Redpecayo's guard! Nice work there by Sanchez!
Sanchez postures up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Redpecayo Redpecayo just wasn't active enough.
Redpecayo throws a head kick that misses.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Redpecayo swats away the attempt to clinch by Sanchez.
Sanchez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Redpecayo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Loco Sanchez dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Sanchez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Redpecayo pinned against the cage. Redpecayo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Redpecayo throws a head kick that misses
and Sanchez counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Redpecayo has his takedown stuffed

and Sanchez counters with a single leg into guard. Redpecayo didn't expect that.
Sanchez wants to control from the top but Redpecayo keeps moving.
Redpecayo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sanchez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Redpecayo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Sanchez is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Loco Sanchez has got the better of the ground game so far.
Redpecayo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Redpecayo sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sanchez tries to control the position but Redpecayo now has his back.

Sanchez has hold of Redpecayo's leg, trying to break free but it's let Redpecayo lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Sanchez is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Redpecayo throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
