Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Phillip Schreiber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sven Hjernson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hjernson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Poirot theme. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hjernson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Schreiber paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Schreiber misses with a looping left.

Hjernson lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Phillip Schreiber has been cut.
Hjernson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Schreiber is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Schreiber seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hjernson for as long as he can get away with.
Schreiber has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Schreiber is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Hjernson defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
