Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gorge Jurgel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jurgel comes into the arena with Rock N Roll Train blaring out of the sound system. Bravo has chosen Magic as his entrance music. Eddie Bravo looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddie Bravo! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jurgel gets caught flat footed, as Bravo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Jurgel seems keen to control Bravo's posture. Bravo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jurgel is keeping the position for now. Jurgel managing to control the position.
Gorge Jurgel has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. The fighters circle momentarily. Jurgel darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jurgel looks to land a right hand but Bravo moved out of range. Jurgel lands with an uppercut that bounces Bravo off the cage and back into range. Jurgel lands with a good body shot. Bravo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jurgel is trying to defend but Bravo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Hard to tell! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jurgel looking to control and managing it successfully. Bravo gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jurgel. Jurgel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bravo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jurgel quickly recovers to half guard. Jurgel keeping hold of Bravo's head, controlling as best he can. Bravo trying to control the action but Jurgel is working from the bottom. Jurgel moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Bravo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bravo is breathing heavily. Jurgel wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jurgel drives through and clinches with Bravo against the cage.

Jurgel paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Eddie Bravo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bravo slips under a jab from Jurgel. Jurgel darts in and clinches Bravo up against the cage. Bravo trying to stall but Jurgel improves his position.
Bravo is trying to break the clinch but Jurgel has him pressed against the cage. Jurgel pulls guard. Jurgel pulls Bravo in to control the position. Bravo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
We're going to have a standup here because Gorge Jurgel wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Jurgel connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Jurgel tries to keep at a distance but Bravo has taken the fight into the clinch. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Bravo jumps guard and drags Jurgel to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Bravo is trying to keep Jurgel in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jurgel content to stall in guard here. Jurgel wants to pass the guard but Bravo is keeping the position. Jurgel slips nicely into half guard. Jurgel works his way into full mount! Jurgel controlling his opponent.
