Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paul Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denny Prokopos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes to the cage accompanied by All the Above- Maino ft. T-Pain. Prokopos is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Deep River Blues - Doc Watson. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Denny Prokopos! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot by Williams. Williams slips a jab and a cross from Prokopos.
Paul Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams throws a shot to the body.
Williams moves into range and connects with a jab. Williams pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Prokopos stalks Williams and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Williams's face. Williams staggers backwards, shaken. Prokopos misses with a body shot.
Williams feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Prokoposs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Williams jabs at Prokopos's body. Williams throws a right and a left that Prokopos avoids nicely. Prokopos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Williams as he jumps to the side. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jab from Williams. Prokopos shoots in and drives through. Williams sprawls well. Prokopos closes the distance and clinches up with Williams, looking for a takedown. Prokopos pushes Williams against the cage but Williams circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Paul Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Denny Prokopos. Williams connects with a jab. Williams throws a series of punches but Prokopos avoids them all with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams is looking to slow Prokopos down with leg kicks. Williams scoring well with a low kick there.
Prokopos throws a right and a left that both miss. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Prokopos. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Williams - that will leave a mark!

Williams lands with a nice body punch. Williams thuds his right hand into Prokopos's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Prokopos gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Williams. Williams cracks Prokopos with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Prokopos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. This has been an exciting period of action! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Prokopos passes to full mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Williams has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Prokopos is proving hard to escape from.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams's corner is telling him to maintain position. Williams postures up.
Prokopos has his foot on Williams's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Williams works his way back into a safe position though. Williams keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Prokopos's head. Prokopos tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prokopos looking for a guillotine here but Williams defends easily.
Williams trying to stand up but can't free himself from Prokopos's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's one minute gone in the round. Prokopos throws a nice looking combination but Williams bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Williams lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Prokopos backs up against the cage.
Prokopos on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Prokopos looks to land a combination but Williams avoids it well. Williams uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Prokopos. Prokopos swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Williams lands with a good body shot. Paul Williams is winning the standup battle so far. Williams throws a nice outside leg kick. Williams stuffs the takedown. Prokopos is breathing heavily. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Williams to score with a decent uppercut. Nice shot by Williams. Williams jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Prokopos has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Williams lands with a straight right. That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Prokopos is stalling here. Williams is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Prokopos seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Williams has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Prokopos tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Williams wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Paul Williams showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Williams, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
