Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Ouedrago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Satan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ramon Ouedrago! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Melvin Satan! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jonathan Paton and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ouedrago shoots in for a double leg but Satan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Satan forces Ouedrago back against the cage and clinches. Satan prevents Ouedrago from breaking the clinch. Ouedrago has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Satan after a bit of a struggle. A frustrated look appears on Ouedrago's face as he tries to break the clinch. Satan breaks the clinch.
Satan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Satan dives in and grabs Ouedrago's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ouedrago pushes down on Satan's head and hops out. Ouedrago shoots and misses and Satan counters into the clinch. Nicely done. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ramon Ouedrago. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ouedrago is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Satan to keep the fight standing. Ouedrago looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Ouedrago is trying to break the clinch but Satan is controlling him. Ouedrago looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ouedrago is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Satan is defending well for now. Satan avoiding damage.
Ouedrago is trying to push Satan away but Satan has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Ouedrago lands a good knee to the midsection. Satan won't want to take too many of those. Ouedrago is trying to break free. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Satan tries to land knees in the clinch but Ouedrago avoids the damage to the body. Ouedrago throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Satan blocks it with crossed arms. Ouedrago is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Ouedrago has had enough of the clinch but Satan keeps him there for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Satan tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Satan decides to pull guard. Ouedrago drops back, looking for a kneebar! Satan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Satan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Satan! Satan in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Satan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ouedrago keeps working. Ouedrago might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Satan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Satan is looking to take a break and control but Ouedrago is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Satan gets to mount! Ouedrago was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Satan moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ouedrago has worked his arm free - good work by Ouedrago!
The ground and pound from Satan seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Satan trying to control the action but Ouedrago is working from the bottom. Ouedrago wants to control but Satan postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Satan scoring with punches from side control. Satan stands up. Ouedrago throws the kick towards the body but Satan avoids it. Satan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ouedrago tries to clinch but Satan moves out of range. Satan is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ouedrago's half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Satan stops Ouedrago from getting back to his feet.
Satan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Melvin Satan dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ouedrago leaves Satan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Satan throws a sloppy head kick and Ouedrago moves out of range easily. Ouedrago shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Satan pinned against the cage. Satan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ouedrago gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Satan to score an easy takedown into full guard. Satan passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Satan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ouedrago keeps working. Ouedrago wants to control but Satan postures up. Satan decides to stand back up. Satan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ouedrago tries a head kick but it misses.
Satan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ouedrago tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Satan is in Ouedrago's guard. Ouedrago keeping full guard, as Satan tries to pass. Satan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ouedrago is trying to control the position but Satan postures up. Satan tries to stand but Ouedrago is controlling from the bottom. Satan stays in close to Ouedrago's body and controls the position. Satan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Satan postures up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Satan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ouedrago sprawls well initially but Satan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ouedrago manages to get to full guard.
Melvin Satan has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Satan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ouedrago is on top in guard.
Satan looking for a sweep. Not yet Satan, not yet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ouedrago accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Satan trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Ouedrago gets to his feet - Satan follows without any prompting. Satan closes the distance and pushes Ouedrago back into the cage. Satan wants to take the fight to the mat but Ouedrago manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Ouedrago is defending well against a takedown attempt. Ramon Ouedrago has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Melvin Satan. Satan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ouedrago smiles and moves away.
Satan shoots in but Ouedrago avoids the takedown attempt easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Melvin Satan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Satan slaps away a takedown attempt from Ouedrago, before circling back to the center of the mat. Satan is looking to clinch. Satan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ouedrago sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Satan somewhat. Ouedrago throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Satan's head. Melvin Satan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Satan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Ouedrago is pulling down on Satan's head. It's preventing any offense from Satan, at least for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ouedrago is trying to control the position but Satan postures up. Ouedrago has a closed guard, preventing Satan from standing up. Satan trying to control the position from guard on top but Ouedrago is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ouedrago looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Satan tries a head kick but it misses.
Satan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Satan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Satan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ouedrago swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Ouedrago. Satan has closed the distance and engaged Ouedrago in a clinch.
Ouedrago drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ouedrago swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Satan tries to pull guard but Ouedrago won't allow it.
Ramon Ouedrago has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Melvin Satan. Ouedrago gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Satan.

Satan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ouedrago fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Satan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ouedrago defends it nicely. Satan swats away the attempt to clinch by Ouedrago.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ouedrago fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Satan gets tackled into the cage by Ouedrago. Ouedrago maintains the clinch. Satan jumps guard.
Ouedrago preventing the sweep. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Satan wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ouedrago manages to pass to side control. Satan wants to control but Ouedrago is keeping busy.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Melvin Satan. I've got Satan winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
