The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson dives in and grabs Samuelsson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Samuelsson pushes down on Johnson's head and hops out. No luck for Johnson with that takedown attempt. Samuelsson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Johnson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Samuelsson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Samuelsson tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard. Samuelsson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Samuelsson is posturing up here but Johnson has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Samuelsson tries to roll out but it's too tight and Samuelsson has to tap! Slick submission there by Johnson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Harry Johnson!
