Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kid Koala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Dempsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dempsey has chosen Linkin Park - Bleed it Out as his entrance music. Kid Koala could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nick Dempsey's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kid Koala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nick Dempsey!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dempsey walks into a straight right hand from Koala.
Dempsey showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Koala.
Koala misses with a two punch combination.
Koala ducks under a wild hook from Dempsey.
Dempsey missing with a left hand there. Koala was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
No joy there for Koala, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dempsey with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Koala to score with a decent uppercut.
Dempsey swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Koala looks to land a combination but Dempsey avoids it well.
Dempsey throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
No joy there for Dempsey, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dempsey slips a jab and a cross from Koala.
Koala takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Kid Koala has been cut.
A combination from Dempsey does no damage.
Koala lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Dempsey can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Koala and Dempsey drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Koala.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kid Koala!
