Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anzhor Azhiev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Randell Wild! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Azhiev tries to clinch but Wild is having none of it. Wild shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Azhiev is trying to defend but Wild finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Wild is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Azhiev is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wild pulls his head out easily. Azhiev actively working from the bottom here. Wild wants to pass the guard but Azhiev is defending well. Azhiev is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wild pulls his head out easily. Wild trying to mount his opponent but Azhiev defends it. Wild is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Azhiev to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Wild jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Azhiev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. He's being very persistent here but Wild manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Azhiev can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Wild had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Azhiev defends it easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wild has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Azhiev should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Wild has tightened it up now! Azhiev should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
