Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aapo Kalypsi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durden has chosen Pride as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aapo Kalypsi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tyler Durden! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Durden tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kalypsi swats him away and circles back towards the center. Durden gets caught napping as Kalypsi dives in and scores a takedown. Durden manages to retain guard. Kalypsi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Durden swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kalypsi in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kalypsi throws an elbow that misses. Durden uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kalypsi's guard. Nice move by Durden! Kalypsi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Durden must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kalypsi trying to keep a closed guard but Durden is proving a slippery customer.
Durden really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kalypsi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Durden won't allow Kalypsi to sweep him here. Kalypsi looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Durden looking to pass the guard. Kalypsi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kalypsi working for a triangle but Durden defends it easily.
Durden got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kalypsi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Durden has managed to get both his arms back between Kalypsi's legs - danger averted. Kalypsi looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kalypsi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Durden manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Durden keeping moving, preventing Kalypsi from controlling successfully. Durden is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Durden not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Durden wants to stand and escape but Kalypsi is having none of it. Kalypsi advances to half guard. Kalypsi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Durden does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kalypsi is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Durden is not content to let Kalypsi control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kalypsi is pressing down on Durden's thigh, looking to free his foot. Durden is holding on for now. Kalypsi trying to control the action but Durden is working from the bottom. Durden is trying to stand up here but Kalypsi is controlling him well. Durden trying to control from the bottom.

Kalypsi not landing any meaningful shots this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kalypsi controlling the action here. Kalypsi trying to pass the guard but Durden defending well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kalypsi trying to control the action but Durden is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aapo Kalypsi dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kalypsi fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Durden to the ground. Kalypsi is now in Durden's guard. Kalypsi advances position into side control! Kalypsi tries for a kimura but Durden is defending well. Kalypsi is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Durden's shoulder. That is not cool. Kalypsi tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kalypsi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durden parries the strikes from Kalypsi easily there. Kalypsi is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Durden to escape.
Durden is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kalypsi has just dragged him back down to the mat. The strikes coming from Kalypsi are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Durden being controlled for a moment. Kalypsi creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Durden sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kalypsi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Durden is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kalypsi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kalypsi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kalypsi tries to advance position but instead Durden slips a leg back in to half guard. Kalypsi wants to pass to mount but Durden is defending the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kalypsi working over Durden with some ground and pound. Durden looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Kalypsi seems to be working for a kimura but Durden defends the submission attempt. Kalypsi working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kalypsi trying to control from half guard but Durden is working away. Kalypsi is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kalypsi has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Kalypsi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kalypsi with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kalypsi misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kalypsi content just to control the position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aapo Kalypsi dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Kalypsi seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Durden for as long as he can get away with. Kalypsi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Durden keeps working. Kalypsi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Durden can do to turn this around?

The ref stands the fighters back up because Aapo Kalypsi just wasn't active enough. Kalypsi shoots for a takedown but Durden saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Tyler Durden is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Durden stuffs the takedown. Kalypsi takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Kalypsi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Durden thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Kalypsi throwing strikes from guard but Durden blocks nicely. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kalypsi postures up and lands a big shot to Durden's brow. Aapo Kalypsi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kalypsi forces his way into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Aapo Kalypsi showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kalypsi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
