Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sigvard Aurelius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrick Rankinstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aurelius comes to the cage accompanied by Marcia Carolus Rex. Rankinstein comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Going Back To Cali by LL Cool J kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sigvard Aurelius has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Igor Prikhodko and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rankinstein tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Aurelius manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Aurelius swings for the body but Rankinstein moves out of range.
Rankinstein is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Aurelius.
Aurelius moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Derrick Rankinstein has been cut.
Aurelius connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Aurelius is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rankinstein sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

A slow jab from Rankinstein misses its intended target.

Aurelius wants to control but Rankinstein is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Rankinstein cracks Aurelius with a solid left hand.

Rankinstein drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Aurelius dives on top into guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Sigvard Aurelius will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Derrick Rankinstein's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Aurelius closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Rankinstein! Aurelius dives in looking to finish! Rankinstein is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sigvard Aurelius!
