The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Castle lands a big right hand that sends Kid crashing to the mat! Castle stays standing though and waves Kid back to his feet!
It looks like Ryan Kid has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kid walks straight into a right hand from Castle - that's dropped him! Castle jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kid from any more punishment! Kid complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Thad Castle!
