Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mac Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith McBenderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying McBenderson's choice of entrance music: The Beatles, Twist and shout. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mac Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keith McBenderson! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McBenderson keeps the fight on the outside. Miller throws a front kick that sends McBenderson stumbling back into the cage. McBenderson throws out a token jab with nothing on it. No luck for McBenderson with that takedown attempt. McBenderson moves into the clinch. McBenderson pressing his opponent against the cage. Miller is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Miller can't find room to land a body shot as McBenderson controls the action.
McBenderson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Miller avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McBenderson throws a wild body kick that Miller sees coming a mile off. Miller shoots in and drives through. McBenderson sprawls well. McBenderson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's one minute gone in the round. Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McBenderson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Miller looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McBenderson is fending him off so far but Miller persists. Nope, McBenderson circles away and we're back to standing. McBenderson dives in and grabs Miller's left leg, looking for a takedown. Miller pushes down on McBenderson's head and hops out. Miller is looking to clinch. McBenderson has closed the distance and engaged Miller in a clinch.
Miller tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. McBenderson smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mac Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. McBenderson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Miller's waist but Miller gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McBenderson off to one side. Miller darts in and clinches McBenderson up against the cage. Miller tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Miller is working for takedown but McBenderson is calmly controlling the position for now. Miller wants to get back to striking at distance but McBenderson won't allow it.
McBenderson lands an elbow inside that Miller shrugs off.
It looks like Mac Miller has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller misses with an elbow strike.
McBenderson breaks the clinch.
McBenderson pushes Miller up against the cage in a clinch. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. McBenderson obliges. Miller is breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Miller tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. McBenderson just stands there and leans against the cage. McBenderson is struggling to control the position. McBenderson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. That kick from McBenderson tenderised Miller's leg. Miller is trying to keep his angry face on. McBenderson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Miller is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables McBenderson to keep the fight standing. Miller takes an elbow to the temple. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. McBenderson tightens his grip and picks Miller up, before dumping him to the ground. Miller manages to land in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Miller working a defensive guard here.
McBenderson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. McBenderson stands and steps away. Miller gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. McBenderson closes the distance and clinches up with Miller, looking for a takedown. McBenderson pushes Miller against the cage but Miller circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by McBenderson.

Miller takes a knee to the side of the body. McBenderson is working Miller over against the cage.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McBenderson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. McBenderson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now McBenderson is on top in guard.
Miller keeping moving, preventing McBenderson from controlling successfully. McBenderson throws a big elbow that misses. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! McBenderson is looking to stand up but Miller won't let him. McBenderson with a flurry of punches that miss. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Keith McBenderson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mac Miller's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Miller takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Keith McBenderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horrible takedown by Miller or perhaps it was just good defense by McBenderson which made him look bad. Miller wants to slow McBenderson down by chopping away at his legs. McBenderson moves into the clinch. Miller jumps guard but McBenderson stands there with Miller around his waist. Miller gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

McBenderson putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Miller in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. McBenderson jumps into guard, dragging Miller to the mat.
Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McBenderson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Miller stopping the sweep attempt from McBenderson. McBenderson working a defensive guard here.

McBenderson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Miller tries to avoid it but McBenderson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Miller to the ground. Miller escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. McBenderson takes the fight into the clinch. McBenderson creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Miller's defenses. McBenderson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A telegraphed takedown attempt from McBenderson is defended easily by Miller. Mac Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keith McBenderson. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McBenderson forces his way into half guard. McBenderson decides to stand up. McBenderson closes the distance and clinches. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. McBenderson digs a right hand underneath Miller's ribcage. Miller let out a lung full of air as it connected. McBenderson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. McBenderson wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McBenderson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. This has been an exciting period of action! McBenderson is working Miller over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. McBenderson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McBenderson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. McBenderson stands up and waves to Miller to follow him. McBenderson misses with a series of wild punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice leg kick lands there from McBenderson. McBenderson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Miller, pushing him back against the cage. Miller is fighting off a takedown attempt but McBenderson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Miller to the mat. Miller regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McBenderson trying to control but Miller is working from the bottom. McBenderson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Miller wants to sweep but no luck. Keith McBenderson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. McBenderson stands up from Miller's guard - McBenderson perhaps looking for a knockout. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Miller tries to keep at a distance but McBenderson has taken the fight into the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Keith McBenderson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well McBenderson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
