The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartwright lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Mark Davis has been cut.
Cartwright rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Davis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Davis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cartwright as he jumps to the side.
Cartwright lands a jab-cross combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Davis doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Cartwright looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cartwright drops Davis with a beautiful combination! Davis stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Cartwright is looking for the KO!
Davis is rocked!
Cartwright connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Davis out cold! This one is over in a flash!
