Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ron Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Timbarlake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Timbarlake!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Timbarlake is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Park's half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Timbarlake seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Timbarlake is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Timbarlake working over Park with some ground and pound. Park looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Park trying to get back to full guard but Timbarlake takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Timbarlake has hold of Park's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Park manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Park really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

It looks like Timbarlake might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Well Timbarlake has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
