Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Napoleon Moreau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danny Turner will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Napoleon Moreau! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Turner! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turner looks to land a combination but Moreau avoids it well. Moreau shoots in for a takedown but Turner shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Turner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Turner with a poor takedown and Moreau counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Turner is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Turner throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Moreau is nestled in close to Turner, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Moreau is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Turner is just riding it out for now. Moreau eventually gives up the hold. Moreau looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Moreau is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Turner sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moreau looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Turner with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Turner blocking the ground and pound attempt from Moreau. Still in half guard, Moreau seems content to control. Moreau looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Turner is refusing to be controlled, as Moreau sits in half guard. Turner is defending against the submission attempts here by Moreau.
Turner flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turner on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Moreau scoring with strikes to the body and head. Moreau lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Well, if Moreau is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Moreau is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Turner defends it well. Moreau seems to be looking for submissions.
Moreau has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Moreau missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Moreau is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Turner looks like he's trying to stand up.
Moreau works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moreau with shots to the head and body - Turner looks very uncomfortable down there. Moreau lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Moreau fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Turner is rocked! Moreau lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Turner hang on? Turner is still in real trouble! Can Moreau finish him? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. BOOM! Moreau connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Moreau controlling the position easily from mount. Moreau in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Moreau looking for a guillotine from mount but Turner is having none of it. Moreau avoids the attempt from Turner to control. Turner seems to have recovered his senses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moreau punishing his opponent with strikes. Turner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moreau. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moreau landing punches. Moreau tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Turner working to try and regain half guard.
Turner looks gassed! Moreau has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Turner's face.
Turner has left one of his arms exposed and Moreau doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Turner screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Napoleon Moreau!
