Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Demoss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Leshley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Demoss comes to the cage accompanied by Here Comes The Boom. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Demoss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Leshley! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Demoss is looking to clinch. Leshley looks for the body kick but Demoss saw that one coming. Demoss dodges the punch combination from Leshley.
Demoss fails in his attempt to clinch. Demoss throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Leshley counters with a single leg into guard. Demoss didn't expect that. Demoss is looking to stand up but Leshley isn't so interested in that idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Leshley slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Demoss is being controlled here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leshley fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Leshley throws a strike aimed at the side of Demoss's head but Demoss avoids it well. Leshley has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Demoss! Leshley working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Leshley looks gassed! Leshley looking to finish with strikes here!
Demoss is desperately trying to improve his position but Leshley has a good base and remains in mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Leshley trying to control but he's not successful this time. Leshley scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Demoss knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leshley on the ground. Leshley controlling from mount.

Leshley tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Demoss working to try and regain half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Leshley throws some wild stikes that Demoss manages to avoid easily.

Demoss looks to clinch and Leshley counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Leshley is tying to control. Demoss wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Demoss flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Leshley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Demoss is looking to improve his position.
Leshley has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Demoss wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Leshley is breathing heavily.

Despite being in the dominant position, Bobby Leshley just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Demoss tries to clinch and Leshley counters with a single leg into guard. Demoss didn't expect that. Leshley scoring with punches to the head and body. Leshley passes Demoss's left leg - he's now in half guard. Leshley decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Demoss tries to clinch up and Leshley makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Demoss clinches but Leshley breaks the clinch and Leshley counters with an outside leg kick.
Mike Demoss is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Demoss wants to clinch and Leshley counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Leshley. Demoss escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Demoss lands an overhand right. Demoss tries to clinch up and Leshley counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Leshley. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Leshley lands a couple of decent looking shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Leshley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Demoss closes the distance but Leshley moves to the side and Leshley decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Demoss's guard. Demoss wants to stand up but Leshley is controlling him. Leshley works a leg free and moves into half guard. Demoss is trying to get back to full guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Demoss is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Demoss pushes Leshley off looking to stand but Leshley dives back in and keeps control.
Leshley keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Leshley tries to pass the half guard into mount. Demoss knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Leshley thows a huge punch but Demoss dodges it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Demoss taking some punishment here, with Leshley in his half guard. Leshley looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Demoss with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Leshley connects with a nice short shot to Demoss's temple. Demoss is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Leshley scores with a couple of nice shots. Leshley decides to stand and escape the position. Leshley thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Demoss if he has to take too many more of those.
Leshley shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Demoss as he avoids it easily. Demoss tries to clinch up and Leshley decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Demoss's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leshley trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Leshley wants to control from the top but Demoss keeps moving. Demoss wants to stand up but Leshley is controlling him. Mike Demoss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Demoss is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Leshley stops Demoss from standing up. Bobby Leshley has got the better of the ground game so far.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Leshley swats away the attempt to clinch by Demoss. Leshley closes the distance and clinches. Demoss connects with a knee to the head.
Demoss wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Bobby Leshley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Leshley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
