And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lemon Kwon Hoi!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kwon Hoi tries to clinch but Jokinen Jr moves out of range.
Jokinen Jr could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Jokinen Jr avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Kwon Hoi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Knees in the clinch landing for Kwon Hoi.
Kwon Hoi comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


It looks like Thomas Jokinen Jr has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kwon Hoi drops Jokinen Jr with a big knee straight up the middle! Jokinen Jr is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Kwon Hoi closes the distance but Jokinen Jr moves to the side

and Jokinen Jr counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kwon Hoi!

Jokinen Jr is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kwon Hoi is surviving well by controlling Jokinen Jr's body position as best he can.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jokinen Jr looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Jokinen Jr gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Jokinen Jr wants to pass the guard but Kwon Hoi is keeping the position.

Jokinen Jr is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jokinen Jr stands and throws Kwon Hoi's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Jokinen Jr tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Kwon Hoi wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Jokinen Jr thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Kwon Hoi is looking to reverse the position.

Jokinen Jr has hold of Kwon Hoi's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Kwon Hoi seems comfortable defending it but Jokinen Jr has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Kwon Hoi is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Kwon Hoi is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Jokinen Jr couldn't care less - he's delighted!
