Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Akston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rogue Four (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Akston might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Richard Halley - 5th Concerto. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Akston tries to clinch but Four moves out of range. Four gets tackled into the cage by Akston. Akston maintains the clinch. Akston misses with an elbow over the top. Akston misses with a knee strike.
Akston creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Akston looks to throw an elbow but misses. Akston throws an elbow but it's blocked.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Akston just misses with a elbow thrown towards Four's brow. This has been an exciting period of action! Four has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Akston uses from the top position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Four has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Akston can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Four looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Akston is defending well. Four quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Akston has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Four celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
