Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, B G James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lleyton Stiels! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stiels chopping away at his opponent's legs.
James looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Stiels gets in close and instigates a clinch. Stiels connects with a knee to the head.
James takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like B G James has been cut. Stiels crunches a lovely knee into James's ribcage. James fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Stiels has James pressed against the cage, preventing James from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Come on Stiels - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
James is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Stiels to keep the fight standing. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Stiels escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stiels has managed to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stiels lands an elbow inside that James shrugs off. Stiels putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has James in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Stiels manages to break the clinch.
James misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stiels takes the fight into the clinch. James can't find room to land a body shot as Stiels controls the action.
James is trying to break the clinch but Stiels is controlling him. James jumps guard but Stiels turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Stiels breaks the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. James takes a knee to the side of the body. Stiels will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning James up against the cage. Knees in the clinch landing for Stiels.
Stiels crunches a lovely knee into James's ribcage. Stiels lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Stiels is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stiels breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. James avoids the head kick by Stiels.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Stiels leaning his opponent against the cage. Stiels continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. Stiels with an attempt at a knee that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Stiels pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Stiels throws a head kick but James moves out of range.
Horrible takedown by James or perhaps it was just good defense by Stiels which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for B G James. That's going to take a lot out of him. James misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Stiels darts in and clinches James up against the cage. Stiels breaks from the clinch.
Stiels gets in close and instigates a clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Knees in the clinch landing for Stiels.
Stiels creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through James's defenses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lleyton Stiels dominated that round. The cut man is working on B G James's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Lleyton Stiels seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Stiels stalls. Stiels escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Stiels's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Stiels lands a front kick. Lleyton Stiels is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fight stays on the outside here - Stiels looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Stiels closes the distance and clinches. Stiels lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Stiels manages to break the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lleyton Stiels showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on B G James's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

James is rocked! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Stiels controlling the action here for a moment.
Oh James is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Stiels with a knee to the head.
Stiels gets through James's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Stiels pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns James! Stiels unloads with more strikes and James sinks to his knees! This one is all over!
