Hazard kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Black Label Society - Stillborn. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hazard gets caught flat footed, as Brooks shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brooks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hazard swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hazard can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brooks controls the pace.
Hazard wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Brooks is now in half guard.
Brooks seems to be looking for submissions.
Brooks slows the pace down in half guard.
Hazard wants to get back to his feet.
Brooks stalling.

Hazard is looking to get back to is feet but Brooks passes into side control.
Brooks has hold of Hazard's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hazard tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Brooks cranks the arm and Hazard screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hazard, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
